Pricing & Engagement
Transparent pricing with no hidden costs. Clear scope definitions so you know exactly what you're getting.
How We Price Services
Unity's managed IT services are priced on a per-user, per-month model. This provides predictable costs and aligns our interests with yours: as your organization grows, we grow with you.
Pricing varies based on several factors:
- Number of users: Total staff requiring IT support and device management
- Infrastructure complexity: Number of locations, server count, specialized systems
- Current state: Organizations with mature, documented IT require less remediation than those with technical debt
- Service level requirements: Extended helpdesk hours or faster response times affect pricing
We provide detailed proposals after completing the initial assessment. No vague estimates or "it depends" responses—you get specific numbers with clear scope definitions.

How New Engagements Begin
The process typically follows this sequence:
- Initial conversation: We discuss your organization, current IT situation, and what you're looking for from a managed service provider. This is usually a 30-45 minute call or meeting.
- Technical assessment: If there's mutual fit, we conduct a detailed assessment of your IT environment. This involves documentation review, user interviews, and system evaluation. Most assessments take 1-2 weeks.
- Proposal and pricing: Based on assessment findings, we provide a comprehensive proposal outlining recommended services, implementation approach, timeline, and specific pricing.
- Agreement and onboarding: Once terms are agreed upon, we execute a services agreement and begin the structured onboarding process described in our How We Work section.
The entire process from initial conversation to fully operational typically takes 6-12 weeks, depending on the complexity of your environment and the extent of remediation needed.
Contract Terms
Unity's standard managed services agreements are annual contracts with monthly billing. This provides stability for both parties and allows us to invest in proper onboarding and documentation without concern about short-term turnover.
Annual terms also align with realistic expectations: meaningful IT improvements take time to implement and demonstrate value. Organizations that expect instant transformation typically end up disappointed with any provider.
We're open to discussing contract terms that make sense for your specific situation. The goal is a sustainable, long-term partnership where both parties have appropriate commitments and protections.
